Who runs RealityFan

RealityFan is operated by Mark Løfgren, a private individual based in Denmark. You can reach me at contact@realityfan.app. RealityFan is not yet a registered company. When it becomes one, the registered entity and its address will be named here.

These terms are an agreement between you and me. By creating an account or using RealityFan, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

What RealityFan is

RealityFan is a game. You and your friends draft the cast of a reality TV season into fantasy rosters, and those rosters score points as things happen on the show. It is played for fun.

It is free, and there is nothing to win. RealityFan charges no entry fee, takes no payment of any kind, holds no stakes and awards no prize — no money, no goods, no credit, nothing of value. Whatever your league decides to do among yourselves is between you; it has nothing to do with me and is not part of this service. Because nothing of value is staked or won here, RealityFan is not gambling and is not a betting service.

Not affiliated with any show or production

RealityFan is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any television show, network, streaming service, production company, or anyone appearing on any of them.

Show names, season names, logos and marks belong to their respective owners, and are used here only to identify the shows the game is played about — the ordinary descriptive use that makes it possible to say which show you are playing. Contestant names and public details are likewise used to identify real people appearing on broadcast television.

Some images shown in RealityFan are not stored by me at all: they are displayed directly from the rightsholder's own public pages, and remain hosted and controlled by them. If you own rights in material displayed here and want it removed, email contact@realityfan.app and I will take it down. You do not need a lawyer to ask.

Your account

I may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules. You can stop using RealityFan whenever you like, and ask for your account and data to be deleted — see the Privacy Notice.

How scoring works, and who decides

Points come from scoring events entered by RealityFan moderators and admins after episodes air. Members do not enter their own events. This means the outcome of your league depends on our judgement about what happened on screen and when — including corrections, which may change scores after the fact.

I try to get this right and to fix it when it is wrong, but I don't guarantee that scoring is complete, timely, or free of mistakes. If a result matters to you beyond bragging rights, RealityFan is the wrong tool.

The service is provided as-is

RealityFan is offered as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, lose data, score something incorrectly, or change in ways you don't like. Features may be added or removed, and the whole service may be discontinued — I will give notice if I can, but I can't promise it.

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from your use of RealityFan. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The current version always lives at this address, with the date it was last updated at the top. Changes take effect when published, and continuing to use RealityFan means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Denmark, and disputes belong to the Denmark courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law.
